Bayonetta 3 - A confusing analysis

SHE ATTACC, SHE PROTECC AND SHE BLOODY THICC!!!

Well, this was an interesting trailer. Christmas came early for me!! Bayo3 was announced on 07/12/2017 (or 12/07/2017, if you are from 'Mericano), and oh lordy lord, my bitch is in trouble!

She, the booty spanker has been booty spanked!! WHO DID THIS?! WHY?! KAMIYA WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! Anyway, before reading, use your globular organs and peek at the teaser.

First of all, Switch exclusive. Take that you XBOX and PlayStation shits. Aside from that, something interesting has happened to our beloved bi- I mean witch. She has been KILLED! DEADED! DUN! SHE DEAD! Or is she?

GameXplain described her as being "bisected". Well, if you are a dedicated Bayo pervert like me *ahem*, you may recognize splitting from Bayonetta 2.

I think the main villain pulled an Aesir on the world. Remember how Aesir split himself into Loki and Loptr? I think this has happened to Bayonetta. The main things that show this is:

- Villain's split transition

- Bayonetta's 'demise'

- Bayonetta 3 Logo (Notice the 3 splits the Umbra Witch symbol into two)

Dividing by 2 is a common theme here (quick maths). I think that maybe there could be another Bayonetta, maybe like an evil clone? But more dramatic, because an "evil clone" seems too childish.

If you watched this and got this far in my analysis, you know that Bayonetta got HER BOOTY SPANKED!

The main villain slapped her right in the stomach (ouch), and a rip-off Afterburner Kick (ouff) and as she attempts to defend herself, you can see that her face is covered in blood. I smell damaged witch.

I'm not sure this has much significance though. Because the Bayo2 teaser trailer showed the Lumen Sage destroying Bayonetta's attack but Bayonetta isn't at all damaged from that encounter.

Maybe this trailer shows her vulnerability? Shows that she is well-matched by someone?

Someone commented on a comment I commented on saying that they think Jeanne is the main character. That could be true. If Bayonetta, well and truely 'died', then Jeanne might have to do Bayonetta's job in Bayo2. Although, it may be odd changing Jeanne's defining gameplay changes (Bat Within can only cause Witch Time naturally, combo multiplier increases faster etc.).

That is all the information that I have come up with. I strongly suggest watching GameXplain's video about the trailer. Hope this cures your curiousity!
